So it is time to look forward to a/w fashion and it really is my favourite season for fashion. I’m sure I’m not the only one with the same opinion.
Why I love it is because, I get to layer and also the clothes are wearable, unlike summer clothes. We, in Ireland, don’t get to wear our summer clothes that often because it rains here a lot and it is mostly cold! However, we were blessed with what has turned out to be an amazing summer!
I guess, worryingly, we can thank global warming for that. However, that is another story.
I have researched online and have come across the following trends which I already have been noticing in stores. These aren’t all the trends, just the trends I personally like!
So for Autumn/Winter it seems like the designers wanted to show the power of women and for women owning that power and their sexuality! This is why we have started to see a lot of prints, especially the leopard print, which for me signifies power and sexuality. The key to wearing and exuding that power that animal prints have is to wear it top to toe!
Yes, you heard right..full mono-print.
A few high-street stores have already taken their love of animal prints to another level with co-ords etc. Here are a few that I love!
The next trend that I am currently loving is the leather Dres, specifically the biker jacket leather dress. It’s super sexy and I’m sure when wearing this you feel the power it exudes-no one will want to mess with you!
Here is my favourites from the high street
The third trend that I just love and I wasn’t surprised that it was included, was the rust colours.. everything from coppers to khakis to purples to reds.. It wouldn’t be autumn/winter without those colours in my opinion!
I absolutely love those rust colours! I think they’re super luxurious and flattering on a lot of people.
I was never one to love any logos on t-shirts or slogans at all but I started to embrace it the start of this year and I love them now! Especially on T-shirts. This is another trend but its focusing on the logos, like Gucci, Versace etc.
I love the simplicity of these logos and graphics, I think it keeps the look classy!
The next trend that I really liked is layering! Yes, it is a trend. I layer constantly but now what they’re tying to do is get you to layer coats and jackets. I think we all do that anyways, well on colder days but yea..it’s a trend.
I am loving these jackets and coats from the high street. Remember all the images have a link which will take you straight to the item. They are affiliate links fyi.
So there you have it. Like I said above, there are way more trends that I haven’t mentioned but these are my faves and ones I will definitely be wearing and trying.
Which one is your favourite? Let me know in the comments below.
