Even though I am on a spending ban I still like to look online and see what is new in.. I can’t help myself!
The new season really gets you into the mood to look at everything with fresh eyes and, yes, it makes you want to get fresh new things.
So I’ve been online and while I was stalking my favourite online stores (Topshop, Zara, Mango, H&M) I fell in love with the following things..
I will be doing a few other blog posts to show you what I loved in the other shops I’ve mentioned because this post would become too long..
First up it is Topshop
I love jeans, especially Topshop jeans. I love that they have different leg lengths! I am 5’5″ (ok ok 5’4 and a half) and I always get the 30″leg and it’s perfect. I have a few of the Jamie and Leigh styles. They’re the most flattering, for me, as they’re high waisted and very minimal. My favourite one is the Jamie black coated jeans. I’ve had mine for years and it’s still perfect (it has faded with washing which is normal) but I do think that when I need to I will definitely repurchase.
I also fell in love with this jean…how gorgeous is the hem?! They’re called the mermaid jean.
Of course that isn’t all I fell in love with on Topshop’s website! I also fell in love with some boots, a few tops, bags and sunglasses (as you do!).
Lets talk about boots first though..I have a tonne and a half of black boots and I’m not one bit ashamed to admit it.. I’d love to have these as well to add to my black boot collection!
Which one of those boots are your fave? The western boot is one of the biggest shoe trends right now with that whole americana vibe so it’s definitely time to invest in a good one!
Next up are bags and sunglasses. The woven bag is very much in. It’s not something that I would normally go for but I really like the look of it. Especially if you wear a very minimal outfit, the bag will make your outfit pop. Also the thin ninetees glasses are back in and I’m loving that trend! I have a pair going back a few years and I’m so glad I can bring them out again!
So tops, it’s something I have very little of and I guess if I weren’t on a spending ban I would definitely get more of…here are a few (there are quite a few…actually no! LOADS) that I am loving.
There you have it..my few favourite things. I hope that you have been inspired, just like I have by these gorgeous pieces. Topshop has been and will still be one of my favourite shops to get unique pieces that are still classic. I love pieces that will add to your wardrobe and outfit because why get something boring when you can get that classic piece but with a twist!
Let me know what you thought of the peices I chose and also let me know what new fresh things you have bought yourself this Spring/Summer 2018 season.
