I have become really into my skincare as I’ve gotten older and I’m finding what works for me and my skin.
One of the skincare ranges that is doing wonders to my skin is the Osmosis range and one particular product that I can’t live without is the Osmosis Deep Clean Detoxifying Cleanser.
I discovered the range when Skin26 had opened up on 60 Catherine Street, Limerick and to be honest I’m so glad to have this in my life. Not only are the girls, Cáit and Aisling, super knowledgable and lovely people the products are amazing!
So the cleanser is a detoxifying cleanser that gets rid of all the nasties on your skin. It’s gentle, though, so it wouldn’t irritate your skin. It’s good for all skin types.
I’ve had my first deep clean cleanser for over a year and had to repurchase another bottle! I love that the Osmosis skincare range uses all natural ingredients. I have a few other products which I will talk about in later blog posts.
What I find with the Osmosis Deep Clean cleaner is that with half a pump it removes all your make up and leave your skin squeaky clean! I then apply my moisturiser (review coming up soon) and my skin feels amazing.
I give this cleanser a 5/5
My other fave form of cleansing is the double cleanse system.
I never used to double cleanse to be honest and sometimes (before Osmosis was introduced into my life) I used to use a normal baby wipe to remove my make up.
I know! Horrifying!!
I heard of the following brand online (I forget where exactly) and I was super intrigued! I loved that it was Irish and again they don’t use any nasty ingredients (they’re 100% vegan and 100% cruelty free!). This brand new skincare range is Pestle and Mortar.
I went onto their website and found that you can get the double cleanse (erase, renew, and the Muslim cloth) as part of a set or individually.
I was happy to know that they offered 10% off your first purchase with them if you signed up to their mailing list. Their products aren’t cheap and to be honest most good skincare ranges aren’t. The double cleanse set is €76.
You first use Erase (it is a lightweight makeup removing balm) which gently exfoliates your skin and removes all your make up (even your mascara-I swear!) and while you’re massaging it onto your skin it dissolves into almost like an oil. It doesn’t strip your skin!
You then use the muslin cloth and remove it. That is the first step. The second step is where you use Renew.
Renew is just pure luxury on your skin (it is a gel cleanser). You massage it and after you remove it you are left with a super hydrating feeling on your skin and it also leaves your skin glowing!
I don’t apply moisturiser after it because I don’t feel I need to. I still have loads of left of the double cleanse and I have it a few months now. I will definitely repurchase this once it’s gone! I can’t live without it!
I give this product 5+/5
So there you have my two fave cleansers. I’ve tried tons (as well as miscelar water) and have found these two work the best for me.
Have you tried any of the two products I’ve mentioned?
