Hi guys,
So I’m back with a styling post. I am obsessed with florals this season and well you can’t blame me, cause they’re beautiful dark florals.
There’s something mysterious about this season’s florals..and I love that.
I bought this Zara button up dress (currently in store and available in another colour) a few weeks ago. I absolutely love it because you can do so much with it.
You can wear it as a dress/a duster coat/top when buttoning the top half of it and belting it at the waist.
I paired it with a white polo neck for extra warmth (on this particular day, the weather decided to become really warm and humid-we will suffer for fashion) when the weather gets colder. I also decided to go with a waist belt to accentuate the waist because you can get lost in if you don’t accentuate it.
I also paired it with my trusty Folkster hat (old) and black boots (old)
As I’ve stated already, this is a very versatile piece. I styled it with a jumpsuit and the white polo. I also wanted to show how you can layer so your Summer pieces won’t go to waste. I am in love with this gorgeous H&M sale find. The jumpsuit is such a great piece to add to your wardrobe.
I cinched in the waist with the same belt (Topshop-old) which is very important for my body shape. Once you know what suits your body shape you can make things work for you!
After leaving the dress unbuttoned I decided to balance myself out with a structured cropped jacket on top. It’s important that if you have volume on the bottom half to balance it out with creating that same volume at the top. Also don’t forget to accentuate your waist as this will also help balance you out.
Let me know what you think of the looks and which one was your favourite.

You wear it well! I like the second look because it’s like the lining of a cape – unexpected but beautiful.
