I wanted to share my London trip with you all..I didn’t really plan to write a blog post but I did take a few photos so I thought..why not?!
I went to London what seems like ages ago but it was just last week and I gotta say I fell in love with the city! It’s so lively! It’s so different to Ireland and the small city I live in.
I wish I lived in London..quite sad right now to be back but I am already planning my next trip. Let me know if you have been or are planning to go.
We arrived at Heathrow last Monday and we stayed until Thursday. I booked the accommodation on AirBnB and it was super easy to book the place and find a good place to stay at. I loved the look of Sharon and Byron’s apartment. It is such a spacious place and it was in a lovely and perfect location. If you are heading to London you must stay at their apartment in Belsize Park..it’s close to Swiss Cottage station and you’re close to everywhere you want to go from there! The tube is the best thing ever!
I had booked the London Eye for the night we arrived. So after we got into the apartment we ate and left for the London Eye. Just to let you know I am scared of heights but I wasn’t too bad up there. It was an enclosed capsule and it moved slowly. It never stopped (thank god) and it took around half an hour to do the whole circle. The views were amazing though.
We didn’t go to Madame Tussauds but we spotted two wax figures so we took advantage..
The next day we went to Dinner by Heston which I had booked for my boyfriend’s birthday. The food was so delicious..we expected the restaurant to be quirky but it was elegantly styled. However if you have any special occasion you must go there! We forgot to take a photo of our mains but I had the pork and my partner had the angus steak. It was delish! For dessert I had the Tipsy cake and my partner had the Brown Bread Ice-Cream and again it was out of this world!
We went around the shops that day and we went into Liberty and well..what can I say..the place is stunning. Just wish I had all the money in the world!
I got a few bits and bobs and I think I have made an amazing skin care discovery for me…I got the Rodial cleansing pads and like I mentioned in my instagram..I think they’re doing something amazing to my skin! I’ll keep you posted though..Make sure you do follow me on Instagram though 🙂
On Wednesday we walked 25km! Here’s proof..
On Thursday, the day we were going back to Ireland I had booked an appointment to get a blow dry and my nails done in Dry By London which is just off Regent Street and I gotta say..it was the best blow dry I’ve gotten and I love my nails!
I absolutely loved London and for anyone thinking of going but not sure..just go. You’ll love it. The only thing is that you will want to go again and again and again…
